Hepatology is a branch of gastroenterology, which includes the diagnosis and treatment of issues of the digestive system. A pediatric hepatologist is a gastroenterolgist with further instruction and preparing in treating s of the liver in children. The Division of Pediatric Hepatology offers exhaustive inpatient, outpatient and lab services to assess and treat new born children, kids and young people with gastrointestinal issue, celiac disease and EOE.  In the United States, one out of five children has chronic abdominal pain. 40% of kids are fundamentally overweight or hefty, and 10% experience the ill effects of an inability to flourish.
